Is there anything at all that can be substituted for ball slams? The balls at my gym only go up to 12 or 15 pounds and seem to bounce too much and you cant grab it low in the squat position after you slam it.

Try stacking a couple padded mats and slam the med ball on to them. That usually gives you a similar result. Most gyms won't allow you to do this though. Good luck. BR
